Ola Electric, one of the large companies in the electric two-wheeler market, has been facing difficulties for the last several months. The company said on Friday that the government has sought information from him when the data of sales and registration of its vehicles was not matched in February. <\/p>\n

The company told in a statement that Heavy Industries and Road Transport Ministry have sent emails and sought this information. Ola Electric has reported that it was sold around 25,000 vehicles in February. However, only about 8,600 registrations of the company’s vehicles are visible on a government portal. Ola Electric has said that it is a matter of temporary pending registration. The company canceled its contract with two vendors who handled the process of registration of vehicles. This step was taken to reduce the cost. <\/p>\n

Apart from this, Ola Electric has also received notices regarding trade certificates in four states. Last week, its vehicle registration service provider filed a petition of insolvency against a unit of Ola Electric for not paying the dues. This petition has been filed against Ola Electric Technologies. <\/p>\n

Two separate calls have been filed against Ola Electric Technologies against Rosmerta Digital Services and Rosmerta Safety Systems providing vehicle registration services and high-quality registration plates. The reason for non -payment of arrears in these petitions has been given. Rosmerta Digital Services claimed about Rs 22 crore and Rosmerta Safety Systems has claimed an outstanding amount of about Rs 2.5 crore. However, Ola Electric says there is a dispute over these claims and is taking legal advice in the matter. The company has prepared to process the vehicle itself. The company has formed a team to process the registration of vehicles. Ola Electric estimates that this cost will reduce to about 20 percent. For registration of an electric vehicle of the company, Vendor Rosmerta is paid Rs 1,500-1,800. This expenditure can be reduced to about 300 rupees.
