The number of paid subscribers of Jiohotstar included in large video streaming platforms has exceeded 10 crores. Recently, Jiohotstar was made from disney+ hotstar and merger of JioCinema. In terms of a total of programming hours, it is about four times larger than the International over-the-top platforms like Netflix. <\/p>\n

Last year, a joint venture was created by Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries (RIL) and Walt Disney. Under this, RIL’s associate company Viacom18 Media and Disney’s Star India have been merged. Jiohotstar was launched last month. JISTAR’s CEO, Kiran Mani said, “We believe that all should get an access to world-level entertainment and crossing 10 crore subscribers figures is a proof of our vision.” <\/p>\n

The logo of Jiohotstar is also new. Its free access is available in some tariff plan of Reliance Jio. With this, users will not need subscription to watch movies, shows or live sports events on it. This streaming platform has a subscription plan for without obstruction and better experience. This means that advertisements will not be shown to the payment subscribers and they will be able to stream the content at high resolution. The existing subscribers of JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar have been automatically shifted to the new platform. <\/p>\n

The company has said that users will be able to set-up their jiohotstar subscription for the first time. Jiohotstar plans will start from Rs 149 for new subscribers. Content is available in 10 Indian languages \u200b\u200bon Jiohotstar. Content can also be seen on this from disney, nbcunivsal peacock, warner bros, discovery hbo and paramount. The company has said that the international premiers of the events will also be shown on this platform. A new section being called sparks on this platform has also been started. It will show the popular digital content creators through different formats. Reliance Jio has announced a new offer for the Indian Premier League (IPL), so that the current and new users of the company will be able to watch this popular cricket event. For this, the current users of the company can recharge the plan of Rs 299 or more.
