According to a latest report, the company has had a direct impact of the China import duty on behalf of the US, which can now be compensated by iPhone prices. The report states that Apple is facing an additional cost of about $ 900 million in the current quarter, due to which the smartphone of 20% is important.<\/p>\n<p>WSJ Report (Via <a class=\"sp_lnk2\" href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/technology\/mobiles-tabs\/apple-iphones-may-get-expensive-and-the-reason-is-not-trump-tariffs-directly\/articleshow\/121111461.cms\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Toi<\/a>) It is said that Apple has not yet officially confirmed any increase, but it is expected that the company will launch a new, thin model in the iPhone 17 series, to justify the high price. The company does not want to directly explain the reason for the tariff to avoid political disputes.<\/p>\n<p>Apple has been trying to reduce its manufacturing dependence on China for some time. The company in India is now preparing 13-14% of the global shipment, but high-end models such as Pro and Pro Max are still being produced in China only on the mainstream scale.<\/p>\n<p>The report states that the company is thinking in the direction of production in America, but it may take years. Experts believe that making premium iPhones out of China is a big challenge at the moment.<\/p>\n<p>In the market like India, where Apple&#8217;s presence is gradually increasing, it will be interesting to see how much the increased prices affect iPhone demand.
